How To Apply False Eyelashes In 6 Steps

Often, false eyelashes are a total pain to apply – unless you’re a pro. Here, we show you how to rock a fuss-free, fabulous false flutter in next to no time.

#1

Start off by curling your lashes using this Heated Eyelash Curler and follow with a thin, single coat of mascara. This will help blend your natural lashes with your falsies. Don’t apply any more than one coat of mascara, as this will create an obvious difference between your natural and false lashes.

#2

Choose the Icona Lashes Premium Quality False Eyelashes style and holding them gently at each end between your thumb and index fingers, lightly bend the strip. This will help your lashes sit comfortably on the natural curve of your lash line instead of straight, which can cause them to ‘pop’ off.

#3

Now your lashes are curved, hold the strip up to your eye and make sure it’s the right size. If it hangs off the outer corner, trim it with a pair of nail scissors.

#4

Apply the Flutter False Eyelashes glue onto the strip of your false lash using a cotton tip. Leave the glue to become tacky before application, which will take around one minute.

Tip: Flutter False Eyelashes glue will turn slightly transparent when it’s ready.

#5

The best way to apply your falsies is to hold them gently in the middle of the strip between your thumb and index finger and pop them straight onto the middle of your lash line before pressing them down on either side. For first-timers or those who are a little heavy-handed, use tweezers to make sure you don’t squish your falsies.

#6

Once your eyelashes are applied, wait a few minutes for them to dry completely before applying a liquid liner like NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Epic Ink Liner along the root of your lashes. This will help to disguise the strip for an incredible, flawless flutter.
